Dr. Phyllis N. Green

Bishop Samuel L. Green, Sr.

A native Floridian, Dr. Phyllis N. Green was educated in the public school system of Pinellas County. She furthered her education at Bethune-Cookman College (University) in Daytona Beach, Florida where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She later earned a Master’s Degree at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) in Counseling Education. Recognizing her work in missions, Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina conferred upon Supervisor Green an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters during its’ Spring Commencement in May 2023.

Rev. Dr. Eric R. Billips, Sr.

The Rev. Dr. Eric R. Billlips, Sr. has been an ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church since 1988. He has served churches in Maryland, Texas and New Jersey. He is currently the Presiding Elder of the Brooklyn Westchester District in New York, with sixteen churches under his leadership. Dr. Billips also serves as a Pastoral Counselor and Life Coach.

The Rev. Dr. Myra Turner Billips is an ordained Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. She has four CPE units and is preparing for Board Certification. She is presently a Clinical Chaplain at a local hospital in New Jersey. She is a gifted preaches and also serves with her husband as the Consultant for the Brooklyn Westchester District.

The Brooklyn Westchester District

The Brooklyn Westchester District exists as one of the three Presiding Elder Districts that comprise the New York Annual Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The territory spanned by these churches encompasses a broad section of southern New York, stretching from the central and eastern boroughs of New York City (Brooklyn and Queens) north through Westchester County (Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Tuckahoe, Yonkers, and White Plains), extending northwest across the Hudson River into Orange County (Warwick).
